Bulldog Athletes and Coaches Receive Numerous Post Season Awards

Bulldog Finishes 3rd in State; Others Do Well in State Track Meet

Bulldog Layla Senter brought home some hardware from the State Track Meet.  Layla finished 3rd in the shot put and 5th in the discus!  Eoin McNally finished 6th in the 800 meter race.  Christian Gonzalez finished 9th in the 3200 after having his heel clipped by another runner.  Congratulations to these Bulldog athletes!  

New Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach Named

Coach William Faulkner has been named Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at Decatur High School.  From May 2014-present, Coach Faulkner was the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Benjamin E Mays High in Atlanta.  He was also Head Boys Coach at Booker T Washington High from October 2008-May 2014. Lady Bulldog Soccer Season Ends

The Girls Varsity Soccer Team were defeated by McIntosh 1-4 in their State Quarterfinal game.  This ends the season which found the girls finishing second in the region and battling injuries that knocked out key players.

Bulldog Track Athletes Compete in Sectionals; 3 Qualify For State

The Sectional Track Meet was held Saturday, May 4th and the Bulldogs had 5 athletes competing.  Sam Amick, Christian Gonzalez, Eoin McNally, Layla Senter and Adi Taylor all participated.  Sam Amick finished 9th in the 3200 and Adi Taylor finished 12th in the 1600.  Both had stellar seasons but they did not qualify for State. 

Historic Lacrosse Season Ends

The Varsity Girls Lacrosse Team’s historic season came to an end Monday night as they lost their second round playoff game to Westminster 10-5.  The Lady Bulldogs finished 2nd in their region and hosted their first ever playoff game this year.  Congratulations on a wonderful season!

Girls Soccer Team Advances to the Quarterfinals

The Girls soccer team defeated Chamblee 1-0 at North Dekalb Stadium last Wednesday.  The girls scored in the first half and held on for the win.  The girls will travel to McIntosh on Tuesday, May 7th.  Go Bulldogs!

Baseball Team Sweeps Walnut Grove to Advance to Quarterfinals

The Bulldog Baseball Team swept Walnut Grove last Thursday earning a spot in the State Quarterfinals.  In game one, it took extra innings but the Bulldogs got the 4-3 victory. Lady Bulldog Lacrosse Team Takes a Bite Out of North Oconee

The Varsity Girls Lacrosse team took little mercy on their visitors from North Oconee last Thursday.  Hosting their first ever lacrosse match, the Lady Bulldogs defeated North Oconee 15-4 in their first round playoff game.  The victory means the Lady Bulldogs will travel to Westminster Monday, May 6 at 6:00 to meet the Wildcats in
