Track performance at the JV Dekalb County Championships

Yesterday the DHS JV Track team competed against the other Dekalb County teams at the JV Dekalb County Championships. The boys team came away with a first place team finish and many individual medals! The girls team, while smaller, was also impressive and took first place in three different events. Medal winners for DHS were:

Yesterday was the first meet for the combined sprint/distance/field event squad, and the Bulldogs did well! We are still missing some of our top performers (because basketball and indoor track are still happening) but the kids that are here are showing up and performing!! The 7th Annual Fleet Feet Decatur Distance Kick-Off at Parkview

Tonight was a COLD start to the track season, but an exciting one. In an unusual meet, only the distance squad raced at Parkview High School.
